All Stairs Challenge

Maleo is a company that offers simple and flexible office solutions based in Lisbon, Portugal. They wanted to create a gamification challenge that would increase the usage of stairs instead of elevators. The solution was to install people counter sensors in the stairs and a card reader for identification of the participant. The results were an all-stairs challenge where the participants won prizes and a solidarity contribution for each step that was given, as well as savings in energy and increased well-being for the participants.
